Our use of AI
12 Willows Press is a one-person operation. There’s no marketing department, no editorial staff, no team of designers. What there is: A genuine commitment to getting human-written environmental stories in front of readers who care about them. To do that at any meaningful scale, we use AI tools to support our marketing and operational workflows—things like book trailers, promotional materials, and administrative tasks. Every editorial decision, every book we sign, every author relationship is human. We don’t use AI to replace judgment; we use it to extend reach. And we never submit manuscripts or author content to any platform for AI training purposes—that’s guaranteed in every contract we sign.
